Fuelled by people with a passion for high standards
Our journey began in 1998 when I began working with property developers refurbishing houses. Having completed a degree in Geology, worked in Air Traffic Control and gained my pilots licence, I decided to indulge my passion for building stuff!
The opportunities for a group of skilled craftsmen who stuck fast to the principles of maintaining high standards of quality and service were clear, and in 2012 Ashley Lewis Construction Services Ltd was born.
Since then my team has grown, and we have spent time honing our skills in turning tired, impractical spaces into beautiful, well thought out places to live.
Today we are a group of master craftsmen, who take great pride in delivering consistently high standards of quality along with exceptional customer service. This, along with a tough staff recruitment process has seen our customer base, infrastructure and reputation grow year on year.
We aim to not only meet, but exceed your expectations, adding you to our growing list of satisfied customers.
Ashley Lewis Director
Ashley has been working in the industry since 2000. Having studied geology at university he went on to work in Air Traffic Control and learned to fly. Ashley then worked in property development and has been in the residential construction industry since then, starting ALCS in 2012 with the purpose of challenging perceptions about the trades.
Ashley enjoys running, climbing, travel and is a bit of a geek about WWII aircraft.
James Leavey Site Manager
James has worked in the trades from as soon as he could walk. James trained as a carpenter and has made furniture, built houses, fitted out shops, converted camper vans, and you name it. James enjoys live music, festivals, cooking and spending time with his young family.
Claire Barker Office Manager
Claire has a background in management accounting, having trained and worked at every level in a number of large companies. Claire is responsible for keeping the machinery oiled, and berating fearsomely those who submit late expenses claims.
